Our 100% Alpaca Rug Yarn, is a unique blend of beauty and durability. This bulky, textured yarn is created using alpaca fiber from the alpacas on our farm at Alpaca Meadows, carefully wrapped around spun alpaca yarn, giving it strength and a rustic charm perfect for rugs, baskets, and other sturdy creations. This rug yarn is very soft and pliable, perfect for rugs, chair pads, sofa throws, baskets, purses, even trivets and coasters. Made of ungraded secondary alpaca fiber, it can be woven with, knit, or crocheted. Imagine sinking your feet into a cozy rug made of this yarn!

A 20” round rug takes about 52 yards when crocheted with a U hook.
