Create a charming, three-dimensional leprechaun with this advanced beginner needle felting kit from Alpaca Meadows. This kit is designed for makers who enjoy shaping, layering, and adding personality to their work while still following clear, well-paced instructions.
You’ll work with Corriedale wool roving as the primary sculpting fiber, alpaca fiber for the core, and curly mohair from our Angora goat, Lola, for the hair and beard. Instructions guide you through forming a firm core shape, applying outer color, adding facial features, creating boots and optional arms, and constructing a two-piece hat with band and buckle.
There are enough materials included to create one leprechaun approximately 6 inches tall. Each finished piece will be unique.
Needle felting is a relaxing, hands-on craft that involves poking natural fiber with a barbed needle, causing the fibers to tangle and compact. The finished leprechaun makes a wonderful seasonal decoration or a thoughtful handmade gift.
