This Christmas pillow has a happy snowman with matching hat, mittens, and neck scarf. The design was needle felted onto a dainty flower and stripe upholstery fabric with alpaca wool roving. There is a coordinating neutral border on the front and a red and green plaid fabric is used for the back. The pillow measures approximately 12" x 14" and is stuffed with polyester fiber fill.

This felted pillow would make a unique Christmas decoration that could be left out all winter, or a special gift.

WHAT IS NEEDLE FELTING?
Needle felting is the process of repeatedly pushing a barbed needle into a tuft of fiber, agitating, compressing, and locking the fiber together into a more dense mass of fiber. The entire process involves many hours and lots of poking with a felting needle to shape and create the finished design. Each felted piece is a labor of love.
