This cute little pillow has yellow chick just stepping out of her shell, amidst a bunch of Spring flowers. The design was created by needle felting alpaca wool roving onto a textured gold upholstery fabric. A light green checkered cotton fabric was added for a border, and a large floral fabric was used for the back of the pillow. This unique pillow measures approximately 10" x 12" and is stuffed with polyester fiber fill.

This felted pillow would make a fun Spring decoration, or a special gift. It is meant to be decorative only.

WHAT IS NEEDLE FELTING?
Needle felting is the process of repeatedly pushing a barbed needle into a tuft of fiber, agitating, compressing, and locking the fiber together into a more dense mass of fiber. The entire process involves hours of time and lots of poking with a felting needle to shape and create the finished design. Each felted piece is a labor of love.
