This 8-ounce package contains raw alpaca fiber from our farm at Alpaca Meadows in Mansfield, Ohio. Depending on availability, it may also include soft mohair from our Angora goats or small amounts of llama fiber.

This fiber consists of shorter neck, belly, and leg fiber rather than prime blanket fleece, making it ideal for stuffing, core wool, and a variety of craft projects.

Lightly Washed

Fiber has been lightly cleaned but may contain small amounts of vegetable matter (VM). Fiber remains in lock form and can be pulled apart, picked, or lightly carded depending on your intended use.

Farm Raised

This fiber comes from the alpacas and goats we raise at Alpaca Meadows. Utilizing these shorter fibers helps ensure more of each year's shearing is put to good use.
