This Sampler Wrist Warmers Crochet Class is for those who are familiar with the basic crochet stitches and are ready to tackle some new stitches. You’ll get to try out a sampling of stitches including the bean stitch, bobble stitch, granite stitch, a post stitch and a few others you may not have tried before, combined in a pattern to create a pair of wrist warmers with beautiful, and varied texture! This pattern is so much fun and and each stitch is surprisingly easy to master once you get the hang of it.

We'll be using the Espiral yarn, which is 100% alpaca, so soft and a treat to use. These wrist warmers, aka fingerless gloves, take just one skein of this yarn, with a number of colors to choose from, some natural colors, and some hand-dyed. This yarn was made to mimic the look of handspun yarn, so in addition to the combination of fun stitches, you have the randomness of the yarn, which will result in an interesting and fun pair of mis-matched yet matching wrist warmers when you're finished!

Skills Needed for Class

Basic crochet skills such as slip knot, chain, single crochet, and double crochet, are required to attend this class. If you are new to crochet or think you might need a refresher, join us for the next session of one of our beginner classes, the Scarf Crochet Class or the Hat Crochet Class.

Included in Fee

This project takes just one skein of Espiral yarn which is included in the fee for this class.

Please Bring to Class (or purchase with class)

You will need to bring a Size H – 5.0 mm hook to class. Or you may opt to purchase a hook here and have it ready for you when you come to class, if you wish.

Class Time

Class will begin at 1pm and finish about 3pm.

Age Guidelines

This class is designed for participants ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12–15 are welcome to attend when registered with an adult companion who is also enrolled in the class.

We have a Sampler Fingerless Gloves Crochet Kit available complete with Espiral yarn of your choice, a pattern, crochet hook and yarn needle.
