Black Suri alpaca fiber is known for its long, smooth locks, silky feel, and natural sheen. Unlike the fluffy fleece of a Huacaya alpaca, Suri fleece hangs in distinct locks and has a graceful drape.

Spin it on its own for a smooth, lustrous yarn, or blend it with other fibers to add softness and shine. Suri’s drape also makes it appealing for weaving and lightweight projects.
