This yarn is mill spun from 100% suri alpaca fiber and is a two ply Fingering weight yarn. It is super soft, lustrous, and has a lovely drape. It is especially wonderful for lacy projects such as shawls and scarves. Stramba Farm and Fiber Mill, an artisan mill, in Pennsylvania did the processing of this beautiful yarn. This yarn is named "Affirmation" and is very pretty beige color. The fiber used for this yarn was grown by the alpacas that live at our farm, Alpaca Meadows, in Mansfield, Ohio, and several other local farms.
Be sure to order enough yarn for your project. We get a limited amount of alpaca fiber from our herd each year and when it's gone, well it's gone.

Alpaca Fiber is one of the world's rarest natural fibers. Luxuriously soft, exceptionally light, and warmer than wool, alpaca fiber is abrasion resistant and maintains its insulating properties even when wet. It is considered by many to be a "miracle fiber". You will definitely enjoy working with it, and wearing it!
