This yarn is mill spun from 100% suri alpaca fiber. It is a two ply Fingering weight yarn, is super soft, lustrous, and has a lovely drape. It is especially wonderful for lacy projects such as shawls and scarves. In the alpaca world, this color is considered light fawn. The yarn was made from the fiber of of three alpacas named Cosette, Angelique, and Angelica at Swisher Creek Farm. The owners of this farm have raised many prize-winning alpacas throughout the years. Morning Star Fiber Mill did the processing of this beautiful yarn.
Be sure to order enough yarn for your project. We get a limited amount of alpaca fiber from our herd each year and when it's gone, well it's gone.
