Fluffy and soft, these handmade Alpacas stand just 5.5" tall and are irresistible! They are made from 100% Baby Alpaca. Of the two breeds of alpacas, these are Huacayas which look more like fluffy teddy bears and are the more common of the two types, accounting for about 90% of all alpacas.

Each is uniquely handmade and so may look slightly different from the Alpacas represented in the pictures.

Alpacas are not killed for their fur. These Alpacas are made from the fur of young alpacas which have unfortunately died through natural causes. Rather than waste such luxurious fiber, alpaca pelts are purchased from indigenous farmers who receive a monetary return on the loss of income caused by the death of one of the herd.

Cleaning
For spot cleaning, a sponge with a mild soap and water solution will work best. Make certain that you don't get the leather wet by using so much liquid that it penetrates through the fur, down to the leather. You can let it air-dry or use a hair dryer on a low-temp setting and use a soft brush to re-fluff.
