Create your very own whimsical witch in this fun, hands-on needle felting class at Alpaca Meadows! Whether you imagine her sweet and smiling or delightfully spooky, your finished witch will reflect your own creative style.

In this class, you’ll learn step-by-step needle felting techniques that will give you the foundation to create many more felted projects in the future.

Class Options

• A simple witch design for beginners
• A more detailed version with advanced techniques (pictured) for those with prior felting experience

• How to shape and sculpt wool and alpaca fiber
• Building dimension and character
• Adding facial features and personality

Needle felting is the process of using a single barbed needle to repeatedly poke natural fibers. The fibers interlock and compact, allowing you to create either flat designs or three-dimensional sculptures.

Included in Fee

Cost of class includes all materials and use of felting foam and tools needed for project during class

Class Time

Class will begin at 1pm and finish about 4pm.

Age Guidelines

This class is designed for participants ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12–15 are welcome to attend when registered with an adult companion who is also enrolled in the class.

Kits Available

Needle Felting Kits, including a Witch Needle Felting Kit and other Felting Supplies are available for purchase if you’d like to continue creating at home. These also make thoughtful handmade gifts.
