This thick and thin, bulky art yarn was hand spun from uncarded locks of Suri Alpaca, and Mohair. Some fiber was hand-dyed before spinning with Gaywool colors, Indigo (blue) and Daisy (yellow). These colors were spun in combination with Black and White Suri Alpaca, as well as Silver and Grey Mohair, all natural colors. For contrast, it is plied with a yellow pastel Cotton crochet thread, adding dimension and interest to this fun yarn features fluffy tufts and delicate curls throughout, adding depth and character to any project. Soft to the touch and versatile in application, it's perfect for oversized needles or large hooks. Whether knitted, crocheted, woven, or worn as is, this yarn promises to elevate any creation, serving as both embellishment and focal point.
This art yarn lends itself beautifully to a variety of uses, from scarves and cowls to cuffs for gloves, hat trims, and sweater edges. It's versatile enough to craft purses, headbands, and lariats, and it truly shines as an accent when paired with other yarns. Its uniqueness also makes it an ideal choice for gifting to fellow crafters or anyone who appreciates handmade treasures.
