Prewashed for Your Convenience

Each fleece is gently washed through multiple soak-and-rinse cycles to remove most dust and debris while preserving the natural lock structure. Because alpaca fiber is a natural farm product, you may occasionally find a small piece of hay or vegetable matter. We recommend washing your finished project after spinning or crafting.

Our Farm

Every package of fiber comes from the alpacas at Alpaca Meadows in Ohio, where we carefully raise our herd and hand-process each fleece. From skirting and washing to packaging, we take pride in preparing beautiful natural fiber for spinners, felters, weavers, doll makers, and other fiber artists.
