This gorgeous fingering-weight sock yarn from The Alpaca Yarn Company will be one of your favorites. With a blend of 20% Superfine Alpaca, 65% Superwash Wool, and 15% Nylon for durability, you get the best of both worlds...warmth and strength.

This yarn was hand-dyed to create a self-striping sock and comes in a 100g, 440 yard skein - enough for a pair of adult-size socks. The manufacturer's suggested gauge is 7 stitches per inch using US#1-2 (2.25-2.75mm) needles.

Not a sock knitter? Use size US#4 needles for hats and scarves, or larger needle sizes for lacy items.
