This gorgeous sock-weight yarn from the Alpaca Yarn Company is a blend of 20% superfine Alpaca, 65% superwash Wool, and 15% Nylon for durability. The yarn was hand-dyed to create a self-striping sock. This yarn comes in a 100g, 360 yard skein - enough for a pair of adult-size socks. The manufacturer's suggested gauge is 7 stitches per inch using US#1-2 (2.25-2.75mm) needles. Not a sock knitter? Use size US#4 needles for hats and scarves, or larger needle sizes for lacy items.
