This needle felting kit includes everything you need to create the roly-poly Santa pictured in the last several images. This DIY kit will help you to learn the basics of needle felting a three dimensional object, how to create a core shape using an alpaca stuffed nylon knee high, apply an outer color, add accessories, create facial features, a stocking cap with pom-pom, and then finish with a curly Santa beard.
Needle felting is a simple and fun craft, no knitting, crocheting, or following a pattern required. Poking repeatedly with a barbed felting needle tangles the fibers together to create a solid fabric, in this case a three dimensional sculpture. When finished with this project, you'll have an adorable Santa for your Christmas decorating, or to give as a gift! Poking with a sharp needle is also good stress relief!
The finished felted Santa is an example of what your finished project will look like. This listing is for the kit only.
