In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to layer wool fibers and use water, soap, and agitation to create strong, durable felt. We’ll work step-by-step to shape the fiber into a small bowl that is both decorative and functional.

Wet felting is a wonderfully tactile and creative process. Come ready to get your hands wet, play with color, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of fiber art.
All fiber and supplies needed to create one wet felted bowl are included in the class fee. Felting tools and equipment will be provided for use during class.
Please bring an old bath towel. Wet felting involves plenty of water, so wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little wet.
Class will begin at 1 PM and finish about 4:00 PM.
This class is designed for participants ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12–15 are welcome to attend when registered with an adult companion who is also enrolled in the class.
This workshop is part of our ongoing series of hands-on Fiber Arts Classes at Alpaca Meadows in Mansfield, Ohio. We offer small-group instruction in needle felting, wet felting, knitting, crochet, spinning, and seasonal creative projects throughout the year.
